Life Extension’s Optimized Saffron with Satiereal

by

Recently, I was working from home and was watching Dr. OZ on TV while working. He seems to always have these unique medicines and supplements for all type of things including weight-loss. ON this show Dr. OZ spoke about the supplement, Optimized Saffron with Satiereal. Satiereal, is an extract of the common Saffron spice that plays a big role in this supplement. In addition to being an appetites suppressant. The extract is also said to be a mood booster as well which could help individuals that eat due depression, anxiety and stress which actually plays a huge role in weight gain for many. After some research, I opted to try LifeExtension’s Optimized Saffron with Satiereal although there are a few companies that make this LifeExtension’s product had the best user comments.

My wife and I just had our daughter and she was looking for an easy and healthy way to start shedding some of the after baby weight and we thought this would be a great product to try. The product is not a colon blow but more of a natural appetite suppressant.

After receiving the product I read some of the common side effects and the major one listed was headache which I also read online in some forums — but many of the posts did mention that it did help suppress the appetite and helped in the weight loss process. The bottle I was sent was good for a 30-day supply and you are to take the pill twice daily with a meal.

My wife started to take the supplement with a meal and after taking it for just a few days she started to get severe headaches from it which is said to be a side effect as mentioned before. She did feel less hungry but the headache was too much for her. I advised her to stop taking the supplement and that I would take it instead.

I work out regularly and I am already a pretty healthy eater in addition to being a pretty average weight but I wanted to shed a couple pounds and put a stop to some of my mid-day snacking while sitting at my desk.

I started the supplement at 168lbs and had no issues with any headaches or any side effects. Taking the supplement as directed — twice daily with meals I started to almost immediately feel less hungry and a few more days into taking the supplement I felt a big change in my appetite.  I still wanted to eat but not all the time and could almost care less about those snacks and eating large portions.

Over the 25+ day course of taking LifeExtension Optimized Saffron with Satiereal I started to also see some weight loss.  And yes, I know that men typically have an easier time shedding pounds but I was still pretty amazed to see it as while not taking the supplement and going to the gym my weight seems to stay almost the same and does not really fluctuate.  While taking the supplement I saw my weight drop almost 4.5lbs and this did not include really changing my diet except for eating less — I was pretty happy with these results and could only imagine if you also made your diet healthier too.

I feel the cost of the supplement is a little much especially for a 30-day supply but when you compare to other weight-loss / appetite suppressant supplements on the market it seems to be a pretty average price point which is around $25 which breaks down to less than a dollar a day.

I don’t really take too many supplements besides fish oil but as mentioned I was very happy with the results — so even if you took for a few months to help shed pounds this would be a great natural way to do it.  Besides the headaches my wife encountered, if you are looking for a natural supplement for weight loss or at least helping to curb your eating  I would  give LifeExtension’s Optimized Saffron with Satiereal 3.5 out of 5 stars
